Reims and Bezannes have eleven coworking spaces, from La Capsule, run by a non-profit association, to business centres near the two main train stations: Reims central station and Champagne-Ardenne TGV station (high-speed trains) in Bezannes, 30 minutes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and 40 minutes from Paris-Est (Gare de l’Est). Both have coworking spaces with day passes within a few minutes’ walk. For a day, expect to pay 10 € excl. VAT at Village by CA or 12 € excl. VAT for half a day at OfficeStation; for a month, from 70 € (La Capsule, plus the membership fee) to 250 € excl. VAT. Village by CA, opposite the TGV station, rents a desk for 10 € excl. VAT per day, bookable online by the half-day. Near Reims central station, OfficeStation charges 12 € excl. VAT per half-day and 20 € excl. VAT per day. In the city centre, Collab offers a desk at 25 € excl. VAT per day. La Capsule gives you the first half-day free as a trial.

La Capsule is the cheapest option: 70 € a month for unlimited access, plus a 35 € annual membership fee. Next come Centre d’Affaires Reims Bezannes (from 174.90 € excl. For a seminar, Hôtel de la Paix offers eight rooms for up to 200 people.

Around Reims central station, in the Clairmarais district, OfficeStation, Sharies and Regus / Spaces are a few minutes’ walk from the platforms. At Champagne-Ardenne TGV station in Bezannes, 40 minutes from Paris-Est, you will find Village by CA, Centre d’Affaires Reims Bezannes and Regus Immeuble Zash.
Working for free
The municipal libraries and the Robert de Sorbon university library offer WiFi and work tables with no membership required (see the libraries). Around fifteen cafés also let you work as long as you order something.
Coworking spaces in Reims, one by one
La Capsule, the non-profit coworking space
La Capsule is the original coworking space in Reims. The Reims Coworking association, founded in 2012, runs it with its volunteers and members: a shared open space, a dining area with a kitchen, free coffee and tea, but no meeting room or private office. Regular events: an Apéro Entrepreneur (entrepreneurs’ drinks) on the first Thursday of the month, a free breakfast on Tuesday mornings and friendly open days called “Glandredis”.

During summer 2026 (29 June to 28 August), La Capsule had temporarily moved to MediaSchool, rue du Cadran Saint-Pierre. La Magdeleine, the community venue that hosted it before, closed in October 2025 after the Set Up cooperative went into compulsory liquidation.
Coko Working, cosy offices in the city centre
Opened in December 2022 near cours Langlet, Coko Working offers resident coworking only: shared or private offices with 1 to 5 desks, in a 140 m² space carefully decorated by its founder, Sybille Stérin. Internet, coffee and tea, a kitchen, bike storage and a phone booth are included.

Founded in 2012, Hyperespace is a 350 m² shared workspace dedicated to art and culture, run by the Pièces Montées association. Around twenty permanent members have their offices and studios there.

Free places to work in Reims: libraries
The municipal libraries are the simplest way to work without paying: free entry, work tables, power sockets at some tables and WiFi with no time limit. In France, a “médiathèque” is a public library; the municipal libraries are closed on Mondays and public holidays. Three places are well suited to working, including the university library, which is open to everyone.
- Médiathèque Jean Falala (2 rue des Fuseliers, opposite the cathedral): work tables, two group study rooms that can be booked, drinks machines. Open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 7pm, Wednesday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and the first Sunday of the month from 2.30pm to 6pm. Closed on Mondays.
- Bibliothèque Carnegie (2 place Carnegie): Art Deco building with a quiet 34-seat study room for individual work. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm, Thursday from 2pm to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on Mondays, reduced hours during school holidays.
- Bibliothèque universitaire Robert de Sorbon (university library, avenue François-Mauriac, Croix-Rouge campus): open to everyone with no conditions, 900 seats, WiFi, power sockets, coffee and group study rooms that can be booked. Students and teaching staff of IUT de Reims (university institute of technology) also have a coworking space at the university library (building D, chemin des Rouliers), open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with WiFi, power sockets and group study rooms that can be booked.
Cafés with WiFi for remote work in Reims
These cafés are happy for you to work as long as you order something: in Reims, buying a coffee and staying two or three hours is normal and accepted. Avoid busy times. At weekends, especially on Saturdays, most coffee shops are too busy for comfortable working, and lunch (roughly noon to 2pm in France) is the busiest time in places that serve food. Several cafés close on Sunday or Monday, as the hours below show. “WiFi confirmed” means the venue, the tourist office or our own visit says so; otherwise, ask at the counter.
